My mom and younger sister picked me up at BNA around 6:45 and from there we headed over to my older sister's house to see her family. Truth be told, I hadn't held my new nephew in a month and I had to rectify the situation. After telling them stories of my time abroad and enjoying some sweet tea for the first time in four weeks, it was on to a sushi dinner then a trip up I-65 back to Bowling Green. All in all, I was awake for 27 straight hours yesterday (thanks to that crying baby on the airplane) I finally stepped foot back in my tiny apartment at 11 pm. Unfortunately, I was only able to sleep for a couple of hours before my brain told my body "Rachel, you're late for school."
So here I am. Wide awake. Dreading the unpacking process.
But I'm home, I'm safe, and I'm still in awe that the last month of my life really happened.
